About the Course

Oracle Exadata Database Machine Administration course is designed for Oracle DBAs who wish to take their current DBA career to the next level. 

This course starts with a high level overview of Exadata and introduces you to Exadata Scale-out Architecture that includes the  Hardware, Software and Networking components. You will understand the Purchasing and Deployment options of Exadata. You will understand Exadata Storage Server and Exadata System Software Components and use Exadata utilities like CellCLI & DCLI to create Exadata Storage objects like Cell disks and Grid disks. You will also hands-on perform Online Storage Reconfiguration and Implement ASM Scoped Storage Security and Database Scoped Storage Security. You will then implement/test Exadata key features including Flash Cache, Flash Log, Smart Scan, Hybrid Columnar Compression, Storage Indexes, IORM. 
You will monitor Exadata for Performance and Apply Patches in Exadata environment. 

You will have online access to Exadata Lab Server for hands-on practice.
